So much so that I have a proposition for anyone willing.
Here’s what I’m proposing. You present me with a well oiled argument on a specific topic, and I will (regardless of whether or not I agree) attempt to poke holes into it. Obviously this will result in some back and forth so I’ll separate my playing devils advocate into its own post, and to answer the obvious question, yes I am this bored/I really don’t want to study.
So without further delay, the topic is: Automotive Propulsion (AKA engines): What should a propulsion system seek to accomplish? How should it accomplish this?
P.S. My phrasing of the question is intended to be very open ended. Take it in whichever direction you see appropriate/intriguing.

The wankel is the optimal terrestrial propulsion system. Come at me bro.

Well, totally depends. For instance, a Mustang’s propulsion system should be able to propel the vehicle into a crowd of pedestrians as loudly and quickly as possible.
